    ELIZABETH KAY TORGERSON
    (a.k.a. Ellie)

    joined the our faimly.

    Isn't she beautiful?

Both mother and baby are happy and healthy, and Joe is a very proud very thrilled Daddy.
I can hardly beleive that we are now a family of 11!

I'm sure that in a few days Joe will post the whole story on his site (http://www.xanga.com/Torgersons ) some day soon. So if you want to hear all the details check it out in a few days.

  • After a stressful week, nothing is better at aleviating frustration than being able to go to an amusement park, where you scream your head of and get scared out of your wits.

Oh how I love Valley Fair.

All so very scared before going on "the wild thing"

Bracing ourselves against the wind and using ninja techniques to calm our fears...

As we plunged to our very near deaths on "the high roller"...not really acutally but it was quite fun to try to pose for pictures and wonder if Jay's camera was going to go flying

They had this ride in Taiwan, and when I rode it there I went on it six times.  This time I only managed three before I started to feel sick.  I must be getting old.

So much fun, and entirely worth the fact that I will have no voice tomorrow.

  • This las week was absolutely psycho.  It was only a 4 day week but I don't think I could have handeled a day more.  I spent 3 days full time in my fifth grade classroom.  I taught for at least 1 hour every day and spent the rest of the time working 1 on 1 with kids, teaching groups and correcting papers.  By the end of the three days I was so exhausted I was seriously wondering if I can really do this for the rest of my life.  For anyone who thinks teaching is easy, just try it.

On a completely different note, I just got a picture of the torgerson clan from Joey, so for anyone who would like to know what our family looks like with the newest member (Edmund Mark) here we are.

  • As with senior year of HS I am now in the midst of "the lasts" all over again.  Last week was "the last" homecoming week ever.  I honestly am not overly sad.  I don't think I have ever sat through an entire football game.  Live or otherwise.  However homecoming is so much more than JUST a football game.  It is...

    The Dorm Cheer...

    The Banquet

The post banquet ice cream run

    Talegating

    And of course the game

Not the most significant last in my college career, but a last none the less.

  • Summer is over and school has started but as a final adios to summer fun (and summer stress) I wanted to post a picture of my class at the daycare I worked at.  Yes I complained about them, yes they dorve me nuts at times, but they were also sweet and wonderful at times and I do miss them...sometimes.

    Aren't they cute?
